Yuga Labs has just launched TwelveFold, a collection of 300 works of art on the Bitcoin network.

One of the largest NFT issuers in the market is riding the Bitcoin NFT wave. On the evening of February 27, Yuga Labs – the unit behind the success of NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club – announced the release of a new NFT collection called TwelveFold.

The special feature of this product is that 300 works of art will be minted through Ordinals on the Bitcoin network – The protocol is exploding and controversial in the community.
TwelveFold builds a visual story for Bitcoin with hand-drawn and 3D designs. Yuga Labs said it will open the TwelveFold auction later this week. All bids will be made in Bitcoin. The project also encourages the community to create a Bitcoin wallet before minting NFT.
In addition, TwelveFold also marks a difference from Yuga’s past products when most were built on Ethereum.

Originating from the Ordinals protocol that allows users to encode images and then upload them to the Bitcoin blockchain, making this an NFT like on Ethereum in essence.
