The opening ceremony of ETH Denver on March 3 this year was quite special. From Sam Bankman-Fried (founder of FTX), Do Kwon (founder of Terra) to Su. Zhu (co-founder of Three Arrows Capital), the five-member group opened with a song criticizing the worms of the crypto industry. Name it all.
The lyrics and images of the villains were played on the big screen of the event one after another.
ETH Denver event attendee Alex Lebed recorded the video and posted it on Twitter. As of this writing, the video has attracted over 1.4 million views and 2,204 likes.
“Fuck SBF. Fuck Kyle and Suzhu. Fuck Do Kwon and Mashinsky. You guys let the market go down. When the bull market returns, we won’t be using centralized exchanges run by worms. Not you the key to the house—not your coin…”

Many people left sarcastic comments about the song. Prominent investor Chris Dunn tweeted that the song soothed his sobbing heart. Still, some feel that the song should not have been performed at a major event like ETH Denver, and that the author of the song shouldn’t place all the blame on those mentioned above.
In conjunction with the official opening of ETH Denver, several events are taking place across Denver, including the Interoperability Conference, Walletcon, and more.
The event has been well received so far, with some attendees calling it the best crypto event in years.
According to Dave Balter of Flipside Crypto, “Builders are not as worried about prices as they were in 2018; everything is different now.”
With top chains, protocols, and VCs coming together in Denver this weekend, the Web3 community-friendly event will feature plenty of demos and workshops showcasing crypto and the future of crypto.
