Web3 music platform Audius integrates with TikTok for the second time

Audius users from today can register for the platform with their TikTok account and inherit the music store above.

Audius second integration with TikTok

On the evening of February 23, the newspaper CoinDesk reported that music platform Web3 Audius has continued to cooperate with today’s most popular video social network TikTok.

Within the integrated framework, users can create a new Audius account by linking to their TikTok. With this simple operation, users have transferred their personal information and verification status from TikTok to Audius.

In addition, social network users also inherit Audius’s music store and use it in TikTok videos they create.

Forrest Browning, CPO and founder of Audius said excitedly before this integration event because it will attract many influencers on TikTok.

As Kyptos reported, Audius first shook hands with TikTok in August 2021 to build TikTok Sounds. The integration allows Audius users to publish songs created on the protocol to TikTok.

At that time, the AUDIO price of Audius doubled, bringing the token’s market capitalization to more than 1 billion USD. But like last time, AUDIO price immediately reacted strongly after the second cooperation news was announced.

But in general, this hot growth is often unsustainable and as of press time, AUDIO is trading around the $0.33 mark.

September 2021, Audius closes a $5 million funding roundwith the participation of many celebrities such as Katy Perry, Nas and Chainsmokers.

About TikTok, this social network also seems to be slowly pivoting and having many forays into the blockchain space, especially the NFT array. This popular short video platform released the first NFT collection in October 2021.
