Vitalik Buterin rejects BITE and other junkcoins because there is no “cultural or moral value to exchange”

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin warn The crypto community is discussing BITE and other unnamed assets on the subreddit group r/Testingtesting62831.

A look at the subreddit shows members discussing a lot of memes about BITE and other low value tokens.

Buterin said these assets are “garbage coins with no cultural or moral value.” According to him, investors will lose most of their money when investing in these tokens.

“BITE and most of the other coins discussed on the forums are junk coins, have no cultural or moral value and will probably cost you most of the money you put into them.”

“I strongly oppose these projects.”

BITE was one of many altcoins that Buterin did not want to own and dumped on March 7. The Ethereum co-founder also dropped other coin memes like MOPS, SHIK, and CULT. In total, these tokens brought him over $300,000.

Meanwhile, Buterin’s latest warning had a negative impact on the price performance of Memecoin. The token is said to be down 27% in the past 24 hours data Via dexscreener.

Another developer sent 450 trillion to Buterin token Accident

On March 8th, the implementer of Dingo sent 50% of the total asset supply (450 trillion tokens) to Vitalik Buterin’s public address.according to data On-chain, deployers also burned 50 trillion token supply.

Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence reported on the transfer and questioned the motives of the implementers. According to the company, Buterin recently sold tokens that he did not want to receive.

Dingo is an ERC-20 token designed to burn 10% of the tokens involved in each transaction. According to its website, the burn function will help control the overall supply and increase in value over time.

The project’s 5-stage roadmap shows that they will reach 100,000 holders by Q4 2022.However, as of this writing, only 444 holders follow statistics.

The website doesn’t reveal much more about use cases or other details. According to a tweet on its Twitter page, the token was previously deployed on BNB Chain.

Dingo is currently listed on the Uniswap decentralized exchange.
