Unstoppable Domains launches AI NFT to enhance digital identity

Web3 domain name service provider Unstoppable Domains is currently using artificial intelligence (AI) to create a unique profile picture (PFP) and transmit it as an NFT. This new feature will help users enhance their digital identities.

Similar to the popular AI photography app Lensa, Unstoppable uses a variety of images to create unique and realistic PFPs. For $14.99, users can upload up to 20 of their own images and access 200 software-generated images within an hour. These images are then transferred as NFTs on Polygon and used as Unstoppable PFP. Users can also sell the PFP they create on the OpenSea trading platform.

Integrating AI innovations into Unstoppable will help users leverage their digital identities as they connect their domains across apps, games, and the metaverse, said Lisa DeLuca, senior technology director at Unstoppable.

“The coolest thing about artificial intelligence is that it can add flair and ingenuity to digital avatars of humans. This technology allows you to experiment and create in the AI space.”

Launched in 2018 as a Web3 name service, Unstoppable Domains provides blockchain-based domains that allow users to own and control their digital identities without paying renewal fees. The project releases products that help users establish Web3 identities.

In January, the project announced a partnership with metadata platform Ready Player Me to provide customizable avatars for domain profiles. Last week, Unstoppable also launched a Polygon-based messaging service that allows users to send encrypted messages to each other via the blockchain.

Unstoppable Domains’ use of AI to create NFTs is a step forward in building users’ digital identities on the blockchain. As the Web3 ecosystem continues to grow, it is critical to have trusted services that provide secure and unique digital identities. With Unstoppable’s new feature, users can create unique PFPs that they can use across various platforms and even sell as NFTs.
