The platform that provides domain names as NFT, Unstoppable Domains, announced the implementation of the domain name “.polygon”.

According to the official announcement from Unstoppable Domains, the NFT domain name service is collaborating with Polygon to launch a wallet address domain name “.polygon” specifically for the community here.
The .polygon domain allows users to access more than 750 Polygon dApps (decentralized applications) with just one identity, in other words, only 1 login.
Introducing .polygon
For the first time, we’re giving the @0xPolygon community a way to show their support for the most widely used Ethereum scaling solution with a user-owned digital identity. 🤝

Sanket Shah, Vice President and Head of Development, Polygon Labs, said:
“The Web3 domain provides Polygon’s community with a digital identity that they fully own, so users can log into dApps without providing personal information and transact with a brief wallet address.”
Domain names in Web3 are used to replace the hard-to-remember string of numbers and letters of a regular wallet address. Those who want to use the service will have to spend money to buy a domain name. Unstoppable Domains is currently having a 25% off Polygon community sale for 48 hours starting March 16. After the sale, the platform will start selling premium domains like gamer.polygon.
Unstoppable said the handshake with Polygon is aimed at developing the ecosystems of the two sides. Project “unicorn” has been working hard to forge partnerships to help expand user access to Web3, including the one with the Metaverse Ready Player Me and Opera projects in the first two months of this year.
