Blur is an NFT exchange that launched on the Ethereum mainnet in October 2022 and went viral with its announcement that it will airdrop the BLUR governance token to users based on NFT trading volume.
Specifically, the project has conducted two airdrops of NFT packages “Care Package” based on the listing and NFT activities of users during the beta period and from November 2022 to present. These NFT Care Packages will be locked until the date BLUR is deployed, after which they can be unlocked and return BLUR tokens corresponding to the rarity of the package.
Thanks to this “wash trading” strategy, the trading volume on Blur has increased steadily since November, even since the beginning of December, surpassing the largest NFT exchange, OpenSea, in terms of trading volume market share. pandemic.
