Public Pressure Handshakes with KILT Protocol to Verify NFT Collections

At SXSW, Public Pressure, the music industry’s pioneer in Web3 communications, announced a partnership with BOTLabs GmbH, developer of the KILT protocol, to leverage KILT’s infrastructure and provide public credentials for information, facilitating verification of NFT collections and logging into the Public Pressure Marketplace.

Public Pressure plans to release “Public Pressure Verified” certificates of music NFTs in their Marketplace collection, which will help artists or labels add authenticity and public DJ credentials. Claiming specific songs in their playlists establishes the identity of the property. This extra layer of transparency and anti-counterfeiting protection can increase the value of the NFT.

Additionally, Public Pressure will allow users to log into the platform using email credentials verified by KILT’s SocialKYC service. These logins are still controlled by the user on their device and reduce the need for centralized data storage.

KILT is a decentralized parachain built on Polkadot, providing practical and secure identity solutions for businesses and users. Using KILT’s AssetDID framework (identifying various digital assets on the blockchain), Public Pressure users can link public credentials to any NFT on any smart contract, and anyone – artists, buyers and sellers – can read the public Stored credentials are on the KILT blockchain.

“We are excited to see the first use cases for AssetDID and Public Pressure’s public credentials. The SXSW music and technology festival is the perfect place to announce the next phase of NFT certification,” said Ingo Rübe, CEO of BOTLabs GmbH and founder of KILT Protocol.

Public Pressure President Sergio Mottola added:

“By partnering with KILT, we are bringing an extra layer of transparency and protection against tampering of music NFTs. Additionally, by integrating technology from other projects in the ecosystem, we have also demonstrated that Polkadot is by far the best in terms of interoperability.” ecosystem. The success of this partnership adds value to the end user.”

The KILT protocol is a blockchain protocol for creating decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials, providing businesses and users with secure and practical identity solutions. BOTLabs GmbH is the original developer of the KILT protocol and services “built on KILT”, including SocialKYC for identity verification, DIDsign for decentralized file signing and web3name for personalized digital identities. Based in Berlin, BOTLabs is a founding member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) and a member of the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF).
