PEPE rose 77% on the day to lead the top 10 meme coins

The memecoin market is down 3.1% against the dollar in the past 24 hours and currently stands at $18.9 billion. Eight of the top 10 memecoins recorded daily gains today, led by rookie Pepe (PEPE). PEPE has gained 77% in the past day and is currently 513.15% above its all-time low of $0.000000551 set on April 18.

While the new PEPE is up 77% today, it is still down more than 17% from its all-time high set on April 20. On that day, PEPE reached $0.000000399, with a capital market cap of over $165 million. Currently, the market valuation of memecoin is $0.000000333, which is $140 million today. Interestingly, even though Uniswap v2 is hosted on a centralized cryptocurrency exchange, it is currently the most actively traded exchange for PEPE.
