David Gokhshtein, founder of cryptocurrency influencer Gokhshtein Media, spoke with Elon Musk to find out if Twitter is blocking tweets and memes related to the Pepecoin (PEPE) cryptocurrency.
Several Twitter users responded in the comment section that they had encountered similar problems with PEPE’s tweets.
Is Elon Musk ‘in the way’ of PEPE?
Gokhshtein believes the platform has blocked PEPE-specific tweets because he has received numerous messages saying “tweets are not available.”
hey elon are you depressed $PEPE tweets?

A Twitter user also commented that they had a similar situation. Other users suggested that it was time for Crypto Twitter to focus on other memecoins, such as FLOKI. Some believe that people are talking less about PEPE these days because they make a lot of money from it and turn to other “Degen projects” to make money.
One user jokingly wrote that Elon Musk doesn’t want PEPE to become more popular than his favorite meme coin, DOGE.
According to data provided by CoinMarketCap, PEPE is down 56 percent from its all-time high of $0.00004354 reached on May 5.
PEPE’s market capitalization is currently $812.7 million. Yesterday, cryptocurrency analyst Lil Moon Lambo suggested that PEPE will replace Dogecoin as an indicator of market sentiment.
