Giddy crypto wallet app allows Polygon users to pay gas fees in USDC instead of MATIC as usual.

Crypto users must have many times transacted through the Polygon network but encountered a shortage of MATIC to pay gas fees, at such times it often takes a step to find a way to top up MATIC to continue. Giddy wallet’s new policy, allowing users to pay gas with stablecoin USDC, will partly solve this inconvenience.
Accordingly, the wallet platform has introduced a new feature called “Autogas”, which helps those who have USDC and GIDDY – the project’s token – to directly pay gas fees during the transaction.
Giddy Autogas allows users to pay gas (network) fees using $GIDDY or $USDC in addition to $MATIC.
For the first time ever you can access everything the world of #DeFi has to offer all while exclusively funding your wallet with stablecoins.

In fact, the mechanism of Autogas is still swapping USDC to MATIC on behalf of users. So in essence, users are still paying Polygon gas with the default MATIC token.
Giddy CEO Eric Parker said:
“As long as users keep USDC, GIDDY or MATIC in their wallet, they can trade and send money without any extra fees or hassle.”
This means that the platform does not charge any additional fees when using Autogas, including swap fees from USDC to MATIC. The CEO also said “Autogas will support more tokens in the future.”
On March 1, recently, DEX 0x exchange was Tx Relay API product launchwhich allows Ethereum and Polygon wallets to pay without holding the native gas payment token. Robinhood Wallet will be the first partner to implement the Tx Relay API.
The Giddy wallet platform was founded in 2021 and currently has more than 100,000 registrations.
