In a surprise move, Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has offered to give away 1 million DOGEs to anyone who can provide evidence of the existence of a mysterious emerald mine such as a certain vehicle. The media credited it to his family.
A designer of Dogecoin claimed that Elon Musk never owned an emerald mine, and offered a reward of 69,420 DOGEs to any media that can provide evidence of the existence of emeralds. Musk jumped in right after that and upped the ante, offering a whopping 1 million DOGE for the same proof.
Rumors of the Musk family owning emerald mines in Africa date back to 2014. At the time, Elon Musk apparently admitted in an interview with Forbes that his father owned such a mine in Zambia. However, the post has since been deleted and all that remains is the web archive page. It’s unclear if rumors that the Musk family owns the pearl mine are true, but it’s clear the billionaire wants to settle the matter once and for all.
Regardless of his motives, the generous bounty has certainly caught the attention of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and treasure hunters. Whether anyone will be able to provide the evidence Musk is looking for remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the hunt for the mysterious emerald mine is reigniting.

In a rare move seen as a vote of confidence, Shibetoshi posted a screenshot showing Elon Musk subscribing to him, amplifying a feature of Twitter that hasn’t quite gone mainstream yet. To further clarify the registration, Elon Musk Comment Twitter is “activating a mass sign-up period for this creator!” and a new feed “for long-form text, photos, or videos.”
Social media content creation is a big thing these days, and Twitter is one of the mainstream micro-messaging platforms with the most KOLs, a subscription service will expand the company’s revenue generation and bring additional value to KOLs. On Twitter alone, Shibetoshi has more than 2.1 million followers, and considering his stature in the industry, Elon Musk’s registration could win even more followers for the tech guru.
On Twitter today, few users use the platform more than Elon Musk himself. His connection to Billy Marcus is often demonstrated by posting memes, sharing similar content about new technologies (most recently Neuralink), and some hilarious quips about Dogecoin.
Through the subscription service, connection happens in such a way that exclusive content can be shared with loyal followers who appreciate the actions of these two major Twitter users. However, many fear that content related to Dogecoin cannot be limited to subscribers of both.
