The ApeCoin community voted down the proposal to create a new series of NFTs, including the ApeCoin Armory Club and Ape Coin Pet Club.
ApeCoin DAO rejected the proposal to introduce two new NFT series, Ape Coin Armory Club and Ape Coin Pet Club. Each collection is designed with 20,000 NFTs. 83.95% rejected the proposal, while only 10.01% of the community supported it. The NFT will be freely available to the crypto community at an estimated total cost of $168,000.

The multi-linked nature of the NFT collection means it links with other NFTs and Metaverse projects such as Otherside, Decentraland, and The Sandbox. As the proposal suggests, they could bring NFTs into the 3D world of other Metaverse projects.

The full proposal shows the image of the NFT, with the ape logo appearing on the shield. There are also pictures of the pets that make up the Apecoin Pet Club. The proposal declares that all NFTs in both series are “unique in their own right, some with even rarer characteristics.”
The second trip to the other side ApeCoin team attracts players
Meanwhile, Yuga Labs, the company behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club, recently announced a captain for the Otherside Second Trip event. These captains are Jimmy Wong, Brycent, Lowbellie, Cordell Broadus and they lead 4 separate teams.
according to tweet Officially, Second Trip is a virtual event where 10,000 NFT Otherdeeds holders will try out the Metaverse Otherside experience. The campaign appears to be a success, with over 7,200 players active at the same time.
Yuga Labs Bitcoin NFT Success
NFTs still seem to have a strong appeal to investors, especially the buzzy Bitcoin NFTs. Yuga Labs recently auctioned off its first collection of Bitcoin-based NFTs, raising $16.5 million in just 24 hours. The highest bidder paid just over 7 BTC for an asset in the Bitcoin Ordinal series called TwelveFold.
Non-fungible assets have also made some progress in the mainstream world. Proof that Amazon is capable of issuing its own NFT. Amazon Web Services also hinted at breaking into this space when it announced a partnership with Ava Labs.
