ACH up 11% as Alchemy Pay expands to Asia

Fiat-to-crypto payment gateway Alchemy Pay has announced its plans to expand into Asia after receiving a license from the Central Bank of Indonesia.

Indonesian licenses have been jointly issued to Alchemy Pay and fintech firm PT Berkah Digital Pembayaran, allowing the companies to provide remittance and remittance services.

PT Berkah Digital Pembayaran, through its BDPay service, will directly connect to 136 bank APIs, enabling its users to transfer money across the region more easily and at lower cost.

Likewise, Alchemy Pay will directly support users in Indonesia to quickly purchase cryptocurrencies and securely spend their fiat funds.

Alchemy said the joint license with PT Berkah Digital Pembayaran will help accelerate cryptocurrency adoption in Asia.

ACH price increased by 11%

Following the announcement, Alchemy’s native token, ACH, is up more than 11% in the past 24 hours. Also, ACH recorded a gain of 279% on the monthly time frame.

ACH’s price increase is closely related to its recent support for Google Pay, which has taken ACH to local highs of $0.042.
